WINS resolution, which can be a major cause of disconnection with our service. Please take your time and read the following guide below.
Firstly, you need to go into your Control panel, as shown here:
Once in Control Panel, you need to select 'Network', as highlighted here.
This will bring you into the Network Panel on the Configuration tab. Your panel may
not be identical to the one shown below, but you should have 'TCP/IP' on there. You
need to select (double click) 'TCP/IP'. This will take you into the properties for
Once in the properties, you should click once on the WINS configuration tab, which
should bring up the screen shown here. Ensure that this is set to Disable WINS and
then click on OK. This will take you back to the previous screen shot. Click on OK
again. Your computer may say that it is building a driver information database
and then it will ask you to restart.
Click on "yes". Your computer will now restart and once it is back up and running,
you should (hopefully) find that your disconnection problems are solved.
