Ensuring that your CLID is passed to us.

When you connect to us, you will need to ensure that your Caller Line
IDentification (CLID) is passed on to us. If you follow the steps below it will
ensure that this happens. You need to dial "1470," before dialling our number.
The instructions below demonstrate how to do this in Windows95/98



First of all you need to go to the "Dial Up Networking" Folder. Do this by double
clicking the "My Computer" Icon and then double clicking the "Dial Up Networking"
icon. Now right click the FreeUK icon and select properties from the menu, as
shown here.



You need to make sure that the area code box is empty, and that the telephone number box contains "1470,0845 0790007", as shown here. Once you have clicked the OK button, whenever you Dial into FreeUK your CLID should be passed onto us.
