FreeUK maintenance work - Thursday 2nd February 2006

We will be carrying out adsl maintenance work on Thursday 2nd February 2006 between 2:00pm and 3:00pm.

This work is to follow on from Tuesday 31st of January. Our engineers have made adjustments that will be implemented in the allocated slot. They are aimed at improving the performance of our ADSL platform.

During this time all customers using our ADSL platform will be disconnected up to a maximum of 5 times, each time the connection terminates we would encourage customers to re-connect immediately.

We are performing this work at what we know is a busy time to test the resilience of our ADSL platform. We will endeavour to keep the disruption of service to our customers to an absolute minimum.

While this work is being carried out we would discourage our customers to contact us by phone, but if you experience any issues after the allocated time slot then please call our technical support department on 0845 234 0712

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation and apologise in advance for any inconvenience that this may have on you.

The consistency of the scores that FreeUK gained in the poll put many of our competitors in the shade. ”Beating off the big names that have equally big marketing spends such as BT, Cable & Wireless, Freeserve, MSN and Virgin was never going to be an easy task, yet one company managed to make it look that way".
